I am an Adult Psychiatrist, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and a member of the American Psychiatric Association. I feel honored to have completed my Psychiatric Residency training at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC, the first federally operated psychiatric hospital in the United States. It has a long and rich history dating back to 1855.
I moved in 2019 to be closer to my family and practice in the beautiful weather here in sunny Florida. Its more what I am accustomed to having grown up in Cuba. As an adult psychiatrist I specialize in treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD and PTSD. I’m committed to creating a strong doctor-patient therapeutic relationship with a patient-centered focus of care. My approach is providing a consistent, empathic and nonjudgmental space to help my patients relieve their suffering and improve their mental well-being. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, going to the beach and bike riding.
